Martha Rosler is a phographer who uses mostly images accompanied by text. Roslers works focus on social issuses, for example the war in Afganistan, but they all show other sceanes such as the kitchin and street life. Some of her most recent photomontages, sutch as "Cellular" (shown), create several thoughs in your mind about society and how we react to events like war. I like Roslers work because the pictures look like they have just been taken, and it is only on closer inspection that we can see they consost of several different images.
